I encourage movement, eating, drinking, and listening to your body. 

Whether you want just your partner or the whole family in attendance, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment to allow your body to birth naturally. 

I arrive at your home once you are in active labor and provide attentive, comprehensive care until baby arrives. Another Registered Midwife is my assistant and will arrive closer to pushing. I like to have a team of two midwives so both mother and baby have the care they need. 

Your birth team stays for 2-4 hours postpartum to ensure baby has transitioned well, the birthing person is feeling well, and breastfeeding is well established. 

We do a thorough newborn exam, take lots of pictures, and get those perfect tiny foot prints! 

If the birthing person requires or requests suturing, I have all the necessary tools to do that in the comfort of your bed.

Labor can happen in the peace of your own home from 37 weeks - 42 weeks.

Your birth team is on-call 24/7 for you during your "due time".
